Dianna Graves, COMT, is an independent continuing education instructor who teaches at national and regional conferences, as well as through in-office training and consultation. With over 30 years of clinical leadership experience, she has served as Clinical Services Manager at St. Paul Eye Clinic, Clinical Services Supervisor at HealthPartners Eye Clinic, and Clinical Director at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, overseeing teams of 50–60 certified technicians across multiple locations. She is a graduate of the School of Ophthalmic Medical Technology in St. Paul and has been JCAHPO COMT certified since 1984.

A strategic leader in optometric innovation, education, and business development, this speaker is the author of Pure Optics and a recipient of numerous national and international honors, including the Joseph Bruneni Award and Educator of the Year from the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry. They hold a Master’s in Ophthalmic Optics (ABOM), an MBA, and national contact lens certification. Their leadership includes board roles with the American Board of Opticianry, United Opticians Association, and Vision Expo OptiCon, and they previously served as an Adjunct Professor at Pacific University College of Optometry.
